For the most part Intel chips are faster than AMD chips but AMD are cheaper.

RAM is mainly used up if you have large numbers of programs running simultaneously. 4GB+ RAM is going to be ideal for a person who likes to multitask. Heavy demand applications like Photoshop and newer games can require 8GB. For general web browsing 2GB is all that is required.

Apple Mac is popular for its graphics and publishing capabilities. Android works best with tablets and smart phones.Chrome OS is the recent one on the list, known for being simple to use when browsing online and viewing e-mails.
