|Central Processing Unit||x||The processor chip usually decides the quickness and power of a laptop. The CPU plays the role of the mind of your laptop. It dictates to the laptop what to do and when.

|RAM||Increasing RAM in a laptop means it can process more jobs at the same time.
random access memory is mainly used up if you have a number of web browser tabs open simultaneously. 4GB+ RAM will be ideal for someone who enjoys multitask. Heavy usage programmes such as Photoshop and newer games could require 8GB. When general web browsing 2GB is sufficient.
|(OS) Operating System||The three main sorts of OS; Windows, Mac and Linux based Android. They all are extremely good systems and operate well. Common programmes including MS Office can only run on MS Windows.
Mac OSX is well known for its graphics and publishing software. Android works best with tablets and smart phones.Google Chrome OS is the recent one on the list, it is easy to use when browsing online and checking e-mail.
|Battery Life||()||Batteries on a laptop are rechargeable but different laptop drain battery faster.
Note that battery life varies depending on current power consumption. The batteries can vary from around three to twelve hrs. When the computer ages the battery life normally will go down. If you are unplugged it’s good to have a laptop with extra battery power.
